Sitting across from Nathan and Lucinda, he felt like a third wheel.
Nathan fed Lucinda with utmost tenderness and affection, as if Zakai didn’t even exist.
She felt a bit embarrassed.

Respecting her decision, Nathan didn’t insist. He put a spoon full of delicious food into his mouth and savored it.

As her captivating eyes fixated on Lucinda’s retreating figure, a trace of coldness gradually seeped into her gaze.
